I am of the opinion that all requirements, both of the Admiralty and of the Colony have been met by the fitting of Cape D'Aguiler / Station with Remote Control and Short Wave /T.
3.
The long distance traffic with Hanoi, Kwanchowan, Manila, etc., is now handled by S/W, and by this means the overload on D'Aguilar's long wave has been eliminated. All traffic is being handlel quickly and efficiently, and I understand that the Station is paring its way well.
4. In war time, D'Aguilar could be keved from Stonecutters, or Stonecutters could be keyed from any required point in Hong Kong, by means of the six pairs of telephone cables running from Stonecutters to the mainland and the remote control cables between tho General Post Office and D'Aguilar.
5.
I therefore consider that no further action is required.
